 Retort Stand |
A retort stand is one art of a set-up in a scene. It is more or less, the base of the scene. The altogether operation can be used for heating liquids through flasks but from a grander hight than a tripod can go. The three parts to the system are;
The boss head is attatched to any part of of the rod on the retort stand, depending on what height is needed. That is tightened into positon and then the clamp is attached. Next, the flask is put into position. Hold it up with your hand and then attatch the clamp. Close the 'hands' and tighten the screw, tight enough to keep the flask in place, but without smashing the glass. Unfortunately, I currently have no photo of the retort stand in use. :( |
